Luxor Las Vegas recently completed its $400 million expansion. Two stepped pyramid-shaped towers, located between Luxor and Excalibur, added 1,950 guest rooms to the existing 2,526-room megaresort including an additional 237 suites. These new suites range from 490 square feet for a Parlor Suite to 4,800 square feet for a Penthouse Suite. The deluxe rooms in the towers have both a shower and bath tub in the bathroom, a blow dryer, two phones and a 25-inch television.

A moving walkway, located between the East and West towers, transports guests to and from Excalibur.

Also new to Luxor is a full service meeting and convention facility. The 20,000 square feet of function space is located on the casino level of the West Tower.

Luxor has substantially redesigned portions of the interior as well. The registration desk, as well as VIP check-in, was moved to the front of the hotel.  The new registration desk has 33 windows, including VIP and disabled check-in. A new Tour and Travel check-in area with bus parking is located at the entrance closest to Excalibur

The new retail mall, Giza Galleria, is now open. With 9 new shopping outlets, this fabulous forum has something for everyone.

The new and improved 12,000 square foot Oasis Spa is now open and features twenty treatment rooms, two lounges on the men's and women's side, and overlooks the new pool area.

The Egyptian themed Luxor Theater offers 1,200 theater-style seats for our new production show entitled "Imagine...A Theatrical Odyssey," created by Dick and Lynne Foster. The showroom has a stage with a fifty-foot-wide proscenium, two satellite stages, and state of the art lighting and sound. The theater is located on the Southwest corner of the pyramid and connects to the main casino by a dramatic foyer.

From the famous guardian statues to King Tut's sarcophagus, visitors to Luxor Las Vegas will be amazed by the exciting artifacts they will find inside the newly opened King Tut's Tomb and Museum.
