4/VEHICLE RENTAL with National Rent a Car:

We have reserved a Category F vehicle (Full-Size, Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme or Pontiac Grand Prix type car), in the name of Mr. J. Smith, for 20 days:

  • Vehicle return at San Francisco Airport (before the departure of AF flight 081).

  • Note:
    • The above rate for 20 days includes the supplement for unlimited milage, the required minimum insurance as well as the Loss Damage Waiver (insurance which covers damages to the rental vehicle), but does not include taxes (8.25% in San Francisco) and the optional PAI and PEC insurance policies.

  • Note: A driver's license from your home country is required and must be presented upon taking possession of the vehicle. The International Driver's License is not recognized by American rental agencies but can be useful (because it is translated into English) in the event that you are stopped by the police or highway patrol.


5/ OPTIONAL HELICOPTER FLY-OVER OF GRAND CANYON "North Canyon Tour":

The helicopter fly-over of Grand Canyon will allow you to take in the true beauty of one of the greatest wonders of the natural world. The history of Grand Canyon will be narrated to you by the pilot of the helicopter.

Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters Company is located in the small town of Tusayan, 2 miles south of the South Entrance to Grand Canyon and 1 mile north of Grand Canyon National Airport on Highway 64, only 15 minutes north of your hotel (The Grand Canyon Inn), which is located at the intersection of Highways 180 and 64.

  • Passengers must reconfirm their reservations 24 before the scheduled flight, by phoning: (800) 528-2418.
  • The clients must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure.
  • A Federal tax of $5.00 per person (Commercial Use Fare Fee) must be paid directly to Papillon.

San Francisco: The Ramada Union Square which has 117 rooms on 10 floors, is a European style"boutique" hotel ideally located only two blocks from Union Square and the Cable Car which goes to Fisherman's Wharf, and only six blocks from Chinatown. In addition to its excellent location, the Ramada Union Square offers other advantages such as color TV, radio-alarm clock and coffee-maker in each room, as well as a restaurant, The Huckleberry Finn, and a bar, The Tom Sawyer.

Mammoth Lakes: Located at the foot of the slopes of this ski resort, The Mammoth Mountain Inn is a peaceful sanctuary which offers all the conforts and reflects the alpine atmosphere of Mammoth Lakes.

Las Vegas: The Flamingo Hilton Hotel is located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, on Las Vegas Boulevard across from Caesar's Palace. This 28-story hotel offers 3029 guest rooms and luxury suites, as well as very high quality service. The hotel also houses a casino, a shopping gallery, 15 saloon/bars spread throughout the casino, seven restaurants, a dance club, an exercise room, a Health Spa with jacuzzis and a tanning salon, a beauty parlor, tennis courts, and an enormous outdoor pool (the largest pool in the state of Nevada).

Bryce: Pink Cliffs Village is a resort located only a few minutes away from Bryce Canyon National Park. The resort offers very comfortable rooms with free TV, a swimming pool, and a restaurant.

Phoenix: The Wyndham Metro Center located in the heart of the Phoenix shopping district and adorned by palm trees, holds 300 very comfortable rooms. The hotel offers its guests a restaurant, a bar & grill, a bookstore, a swimming pool and an exercise room with sauna. There are tennis courts adjacent to the hotel.

Los Angeles: The Clarion Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is located in the very heart of Hollywood, on Hollywood Boulevard, one of the rare major streets of Los Angeles where pedestrians abound, right across from the famous Mann's Chinese Theater ( where you can see the names and footprints of the stars molded right into the cement sidewalk). The Clarion Hollywood Roosevelt is very cinema-oriented: it is in fact in this hotel that the first Oscars were awarded in 1929.

Santa Barbara: Ideally situated in downtown Santa Barbara, the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn offers very comfortable rooms in a setting best suited for relaxation, and offers a restaurant, an exercise room, two swimming pools and two spas surrounded by a peaceful garden.

San Simeon: The Best Western Green Tree Inn is located on the famous Highway 101 which runs along the Pacific coast. The hotel offers 116 spacious rooms complete with a mini-kitchen, and an indoor pool, spa, tennis courts and game room. There are several excellent restaurants and bars nearby the hotel.
