You will spend the day in
Los Angeles, the
largest city in California and the second largest city in the US.
where you will explore the city.
Go to the famous Hollywood area and visit the Universal Studios. Do not miss
the Griffith Park or the Mann's Chinese Theater. While walking on the boulevard
you can seek for foot or hand prints of famous stars on the sidewalk. Another
place to go is “The Walk of Fame”, known for the iron stars marked by the
names of famous American people. Also get a glimpse at Long Beach, Beverly
Hills district, or Santa Monica , Malibu or Venice Beaches. Night in Los

Day 3 : Los Angeles
/ Anaheim
Anaheim is a few miles south
of Los Angeles. You will see the original Disney
Land and Knott's Berry Farm. Stop by the new

Day 4 : Anaheim
/ San Diego
You will drive from Anaheim to San Diego,
about 125 miles south of Los Angles. California's second largest city and
the US' seventh largest, San Diego boasts a near-idyllic
climate, 70 miles of pristine beaches and dazzling array attractions (Zoo,
Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld). Night in San
Diego, depending on your hotel choice.

Day 5 : San Diego
You will spend the day in San Diego. Stop by the primary Pacific
naval base and naval airfield established by
the US navy during the World
War II. Any
trip to San Diego should include a visit to the beaches on Coronado Peninsula,
Balboa Park and its numerous museums such as the world-renown Zoo. Have
a trip to old town San Diego including a tour of the Junipero Serra and the
reconstructed Mission.
IYou will be a few miles from the Mexican border, if you have time, stop
by a border city such as Tijuana. Night in San

Day 6 : San Diego
/ Phoenix
From San Diego you will drive throught the desert to Phoenix,
situated on a broad, flat
desert basin amid scattered barren rocky mountain peaks. Phoenix features
many interresting museums forming complete depiction of the Central Arizona
heritage. Visit the Desert Botanical Museum, Heard Museum (Native American
culture), or Pueblo Grande Museum (archeological site). The Mystery Castle
at the foot of the South Mountains is also worth visiting. The drive in South Mountain
Park leads to a wonderful view overlooking the city. you will find there
many hiking paths and horseback riding trails in the park and several stables
that rent horses. Night in Phoenix,

Day 7 : Phoenix
/ Grand Canyon / Williams
Arriving in Williams, little
town located in the flat desert of Arizona. Williams is an old-west
town located on the original route 66. It manages to retain a lot of its cowboy
ambiance. This is a good place to stop for lunch
or to spend the night. Grand Canyon Railway departs from Williams and travels north to the rim
of the Grand Canyon. It is a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery
while avoiding the 65-miles drive to the Canyon. Night in Williams, depending on your hotel choice.

Day 8 : Williams
/ Las Vegas
Departure for Las Vegas,
the largest adult playground in
the world, city dedicated to gambling and entertainment. Las Vegas Boulevard,
known as "the Strip" extends from the southern edge of the city to downtown.
Just driving down the strip past all these spectacular casino resorts is a
fantastic experience. At night, "the strip" comes alive with miles of colored
neon and millions of dancing, pulsating lights. Many of the grandest Las Vegas
casino hotels are located along the strip. More than a dozen giant
theme oriented casinos are "on the strip". Even the smallest has over 2,000
rooms. Each one contains thousands of slot machines, hundreds of gaming
tables, multiple restaurants, shopping malls and theaters featuring "Las
Vegas Shows". Stop in the most famous ones such as the MGM Grand, The Luxor,
The Bellagio, The Venitian, or The Paris for example. Night in Las Vegas, depending on your hotel choice.

Day 9 : Las Vegas
/ Death Valley / Mammoth Lakes
On the road to Mammoth Lakes,
have a stop in the Death Valley
National Park. This part of California is composed of numerous arid mountain
ranges interspersed with desert valleys. Death
Valley got its name from an incident that occurred during the "Gold Rush"
to California in 1849. A small expedition of gold seekers attempting
a short cut to California became lost in this valley. This extremely hot and forbidding land can also be strangely
beautiful. A small area of open sand dunes gives the northern end of
the valley a classical desert look. The eroded walls and side canyons
take on multi-colored hues from exposed mineral deposits. At the southern
extremity, which at 282 feet below sea level is the lowest point in the US,
a broad shallow lake of mineral laden water from the surrounding mountains
forms during the winter and evaporates in the summer to expose gleaming white

Lakes / Yosemite / San Francisco
On your way to San Francisco,
you can stop in Yosemite
National Park, located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California about
200 miles east of San Francisco. The glacially eroded alpine valley is about
8 miles long and less than one mile wide with sheer granite walls rising vertically
over 3000 feet on either side. You will find nine magnificent waterfalls
cascade into the valley. Mariposa Grove contains a magnificent stand of giant
Sequoia trees. These 300 feet tall trees with trunks up to 30 feet in diameter
are well worth visiting. Night in San

Day 11 : San Francisco
San Francisco is located along the shore of a large bay sheltered
behind the California Coastal Mountains. The city is renown for its
steep streets with panoramic views of beautiful San Francisco bay and the
surrounding mountains. The city of Berkley lies just across the bay, easily
accessible via the Bay Bridge. The more famous Golden Gate Bridge spans the
narrow inlet that extends from the Pacific Ocean into the bay. The Golden
Gate Bridge connects San Francisco with a mountainous peninsula called the
Marin known for beautiful scenery. Sausalito, a small village in the Marin,
is famous as a local artist's community. Alcatraz
Island with its abandoned prison is situated in the middle of San Francisco
Bay. Steep streets lined with Victorian era houses,
a great turquoise bay surrounded by low mountains, and antique cable cars
that still shuttle passengers up and down the city slopes all make San Francisco

Day 12 : San Francisco
Among the many attractions of
San Francisco are the ethnic neighborhoods like Chinatown and Japantown with
their traditional shops and restaurants. North Beach is renown as an Italian
neighborhood, the Mission District as a Hispanic community and Castro Street
for its gay and lesbian population. The Embarcadero,
a broad avenue along the bayfront, is now lined with shops, restaurants and
attractions. Most famous is the historic Fisherman's Wharf which still hosts
a fleet of working fishing vessels as well as fish markets, seafood restaurants
and gift shops. Excursion boats and ferries depart from piers near Fisherman's

Day 13
: San Francisco / San Luis Obispo
From San Francisco, you will
go down along the coast to San luis Obispo. The Central Coast of California
is the start of the Big Sur coastline of California, and home of one of California
most popular attractions, Hearst Castle. This Castle
offers tours daily of this historic private estate built by newspaper magnate
William Randolph Hearst in the early 1900s. San Luis Obispo is also a Wine
County. National acclaim has been bestowed upon the prize winning wines and
premium vineyards in the county. You will find about one hundred miles of
stunning coastline, from the dramatic shores of the northern coast to the
smooth diamond-white sands of the south. San Luis Obispo is also the heart

Day 14 : San Luis
Obispo / Santa Barbara / Los Angeles
Keep going down along the Pacific
coast to Santa
Barbara, seaside resort of the Californiana coast. The Mission is where
it all began for Santa Barbara. It is one of the most beautiful in the state
and offers real historic insight. Have a walk on the Waterfront, heart of
Santa Barbara beauty and a great source of entertainment. The
Courthouse is just 75 years old but it has the look and feel of a 200 year
old Spanish Colonial. Make a point of going to the top of the tower - the
view is spectacular. El Presidio State Historic Park is one of
the most significant historical buildings in Santa Barbara, it has been reconstructed
faithfully based on historic and archeological evidence. The Casa de La Guerra
is another must see, today center of civic, political and even social affairs.
